Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes - Teaser Site
This is my personal thoughts on the movies itself I feel that today movies that are about movies that were made back in the day do not live up to their name anymore this movie to me looks like another remake that has been rushed into the planet of the apes that my dad knew as a kid will never be the same I watched those movies myself and I liked the story of the old movies better than the ones coming out today. It is like they lost their lust and have no reason to them other than hollywood trying to do a movie to something that was good back when it was out in its early days. I noticed that this year and even last year alone has been a year for movie remakes.
So far most of the remakes coming out today have been so bad they make the original look bad as well I believe unless hollywood really listens to the true fans of these movies their just going to keep messing up these great movies that we all onced loved as a kid. Look at spider-man it is going to get rebooted and because sony was upset with the way the third movie was played out but in my opinion yes the third was kind of bad but it was still ok I liked it maybe not as much as the first two spider-man movies but it still did justice and I still watch it to this day. I think that hollywood believes that if they do these remakes it will gain a new outlook on these once great franchises. How much more money can hollywood make from these movies.
I say hollywood is having trouble making up a new movie and all that they keep wanting to do is make remakes and are trying to see how much more money they can get out of these popular franchises one to name a few are the Predator franchise & X-Men are franchises that keep coming out with movies that have not done too well. I liked the first 4 X-Men movies but the new one has me wondering what is the point there is no need for it they just want to squeeze more out of it because the first 4 movies were good but with the new one first class it looks to me like a really bad movie and I just bring myself to want to watch it based on the trailer without the Hu Jackman aka wolverine in it or any one else from the first 4 movies it looks boring and stupid to me. that is how I feel about terminator salvation, Predators & also the new Conan & also the three musketeers movie coming out soon.
All in all, I feel so bad for the planet of the apes franchise and I wish they would do justice to the classics but with this new movie it looks rushed into and just a way to get more money out of the franchise I don't like the plot of this movie I don't like the setting or the story to this reboot version now it does not even follow the 2001 remake now that one was not good but it kind of had a setting that the classic version had so I was ok with it a little bit also they took a lot of time into the movie more than I can say than this new remake they are coming out with.
